What Is the Process to Become a Hotshots Sports Bar & Grill Franchisee?
The first step is to submit the franchise information request form on our website. Once received, a member of our franchise team will contact you for an initial conversation to determine mutual fit and confirm that you meet our primary requirements.
Qualified candidates are then invited to attend a Discovery Day in St. Louis, Missouri. During Discovery Day, you’ll meet our corporate leadership team and gain a detailed understanding of what it takes to own and operate a Hotshots Sports Bar & Grill.
If both parties feel the partnership is a good fit, you’ll be provided with our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for review. Following that, we’ll work together to complete the franchise agreement and move forward with the development process.

What Is the Term of the Franchise Agreement?
The initial franchise agreement term is ten (10) years. Franchisees may renew in additional ten-year increments, subject to the terms of the Franchise Agreement and lease availability.

Will My Franchise Territory Be Protected?
Yes. Each franchisee is granted a protected territory, as defined in the Franchise Agreement, in which Hotshots will not establish another traditional restaurant location.
Does Hotshots Assist With Site Selection?
Yes. Our National Real Estate team works closely with franchisees to identify and evaluate potential locations. When appropriate, we may also engage local commercial brokers with market-specific expertise.
Our team conducts demographic and market analysis, assists with Letters of Intent (LOIs), and supports negotiations of key business terms. The final step involves you and your attorney completing lease negotiations with the landlord.

What Is the Total Investment for a Hotshots Sports Bar & Grill?
Total investment varies based on location, market conditions, square footage, and whether the site is a free-standing building or part of a retail center.

What Type of Training Will I Receive?
Franchisees and key managers complete a minimum of six (6) weeks of hands-on training at our corporate facilities in St. Louis, Missouri. Training covers all aspects of operating a Hotshots Sports Bar & Grill — from kitchen operations and bar service to management, staffing, and financial controls.
At opening, our on-site training team supports your location for approximately one week to ensure a smooth and successful launch. This team includes experienced personnel from all departments, helping your staff transition confidently into day-to-day operations.
What Are the Royalty and Advertising Fees?
The Royalty Fee is 6% of Gross Sales, and the Advertising Fee is 2% of Gross Sales, as outlined in the Franchise Agreement.
